It is interesting when one starts a project, how simple it seems. Only after one begins actually working on it does the full scale of that simple project become apparent. In todays age of satellites, and internet maps this is far simpler than it was in the past. I have been looking at a map made in 1618-1679 by Visscher, Nicolaes. And I am humbled by the sheer amount of work he must have spent making this map of the Apostle Paul's Journey. Perhaps part of his map will make it into a 2nd edition New Testament. I also included a high resolution map for download, because the image in the blog just doesn't quite do this map justice.
